Hansa's "Portraits in Nature" is a hand-crafted collection of realistic plush animals. Originally created for exclusive European collectors, each piece is designed with a unique personality by artists from portraits of animals in their natural habitat. The coat of each animal is meticulously cut by hand, never stamped out by machine. Fabric for the plush animals is custom designed and specifically manufactured in small lots to Hansa's exacting specifications. These plush animals have gentle paws, swishing tails, especially soulful eyes and faces that are lovingly detailed to give them each the life-like look that is unmistakably Hansa. Each piece comes with a "Toys that Teach" tag describing, in detail, the animal's habitat, lifestyle, gestation period, care of young and eating habits. They also contain a bendable steel frame so you can pose the legs and back to stand up or you can pose them into a trot. Recommended for ages 3 years & up.
