We Swedes like to place the goat under the chrismas tree. It has traditions from the harvest crop and symbolized rejuvenation and fertility. In our hometown Gavle we have a giant JULBOCK in the middle of town that gets burned down almost every winter before christmas. This goat is handmade of straw and is 12" tall and 9" long.
